Nick Palermo

Born and raised in New England, Nick spent his summers on Cape Cod and winters skiing in New Hampshire. The spirit of adventure caught Nick at an early age. Following his graduation from Lawrence Academy in Groton Massachusetts Nick set out on a journey that would find him backpacking in national forests and park lands across the U.S. and Canada. His love for the outdoors is a natural by-product of his life experience.

Nick graduated with a B.S. in journalism from Southern Oregon State College in 1980. Following his graduation Nick made his way to Aspen through friends he met in college. After five years Nick left Aspen for the sunny shores of San Diego where he obtained an additional degree in television and radio broadcasting. Eventually Nick landed a job as a field reporter for CNN Local Headline News in Carlsbad California.

In 1996 Nick felt the call of the mountains once again and returned to the Roaring Fork Valley where he has maintained a successful career in real estate. Nick now resides in Old Snowmass with his wife Shawn and daughter Sarah.
